I'm sure it's pretty obvious to everybody who I'm going to root for in the battle between Jon Stewart & The Daily Show vs. That Loud Mad Money Idiot & CNBC. Still, however, it's nice of the financial entrail readers to give the Comedy Central program such easy targets now Bush and Company have moved on. The argument has been detailed elsewhere, so look it up there if you need background.
Last night, in repsonse to Loud Mad Money Idiot appearing on NBC and MSNBC in order to defend himself, Stewart "appeared" on the MTV Network shows to get some corporate family support, showing up on Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer and MTV's The Hills.
While it was funny to see Dora's monkey friend talk about throwing his feces at Joe Scarborough, I wish Stewart had chosen a different clip to "visit" on The Hills. In fact, I was so sure he was going to do it, I was rather disappointed with the whole bit when he didn't. Those of you who watch The Soup are sure to know to what I'm referring.
I'm just saying it would be funny if all this hubbub with CNBC had happened when Lauren was gone. Those that don't know what I'm talking about can check it out below...skip ahead to about the 1:15 mark to see particle physics The Hills style.
I seriously can't believe this is the first time I'm posting about this, as this was seriously one of my favorite things in 2008, and I was seriously bummed that it only ranked #2 in The Soup's countdown from last year.
